As a singer, song-writer, teacher, and business owner, Lindhorst is living a remarkable life filled with music. He has taught in Illinois, Hawaii and California and has enjoyed an amazing music career spanning forty years.
John is no newcomer to the Oregon business community. He owned the popular Washington Street Mercantile & Coffeehouse and has been very active in artistic projects. He wrote, directed and starred in “Livin’ On The River” (the story of Oregon, Illinois), founded and directed the Oregon Community Chorus, served on the Autumn On Parade Committee and was President of the Oregon Chamber of Commerce.
As always, Lindhorst keeps extremely busy working to make Oregon a successful, thriving community. He is President of “Oregon Together” and works closely with businesses, local organizations and volunteers to create and organize amazing local events to improve the quality of life in the community.
John now enjoys his new life as the owner of Ukulele Station America. He spends his days playing the ukulele and writing original songs. He also enjoys presenting programs throughout the Northern Illinois area. Booking inquiries can be made through Ukulele Station America.
